In the earlier season, before this system was installed, there was acute vacuum trouble, frequently injection pumps were running dry lowering vacuum. There was heavy entertainment due to vacuum shocks to the system. After installation of the system is 1995-96 season, there is constant 26" Vacuum to evaporator set and pans. This has improved pan boiling with excellent colour of sugar and low purity of molasses. Maintenance of Constant Vacuum is prime importance in Boiling House, which renders many unforeseen advantages and that converts in economic benefits to sugar unit. Compact area used in spray Pond and increased height of water in spray is the soul of system. In the month of May, 96 we get inlet temperature upto the 25 °C, while ambient temperature is 41 to 43 °C. The system improved factory working and is highly benefited to us." The Shrigonda S.S.K.
